Wiener Wonderland provides day care and boarding for dachshunds and their doggie families. While your badger dog is visiting, he or she will enjoy lots of love, as well as these amenities:
- More than a dozen soft beds and sunny spots for napping
- Food, treats and fresh veggies from the garden
- Administration of medication and/or fluids
- Grooming as requested: bathing, nail and ear cleaning
- A huge box of toys and lots of other doxies to play with
- Free belly rubs!!!
Special-needs doxies, seniors and dachshunds needing rehabilitation or crate rest are all welcome. We're used to having the little stinkers potty in the wrong places, so don't worry if your beast isn't house trained. We have lots of carpet cleaner and Nature's Miracle!
Travel can be very expensive, so we keep our rates low. Rates are $30/day and $10 for each additional dog. If you drop off after 7:00 p.m., the first night is free! We offer monthly boarding for $500, and we're happy to provide a quote for trips longer than two weeks.
Although clients are welcome to bring their own food, we are happy to feed your doxie what ours eat, at no additional charge:
- California Natural Herring & Sweet Potato or Natural Balance Sweet Potato & Fish to maintain healthy, shiny coats
- Evo Red Meat Small Bites for little mouths
- Nutro Natural Lite for senior and zaftig dachshunds
Because we understand your concerns about the health and safety of your dachshund, we only board dachshunds who are current on their vaccinations. We require any boarders over one year and under 11 years to be spayed or neutered. We're sorry, but we cannot make exceptions to this rule without a medical reason.
Before we can welcome any new clients to Wiener Wonderland, we require them to complete and sign three forms:
Please bring the signed forms and copies of your pets' current vaccination records (minimum of vaccination for rabies) the first time you visit Wiener Wonderland.
We accept cash, checks and PayPal. If your doxies will be staying with us for more than two weeks, we ask for half the fee when you drop them off and the other half when you pick them up. Otherwise, payment is due when you pick up your doxies.
